Description
The PIXER® P10 is a pilot-scale single-use pump engineered for smooth scale-up from R&D batches to early manufacturing and clinical production. Providing low-shear, gentle fluid handling, the P10 is ideal for mRNA, viral vectors, monoclonal antibodies, protein production and other biologics that are sensitive to mechanical stress. Its diaphragm pumping mechanism offers improved consistency and less shear compared with peristaltic pumps in pilot-scale applications, helping maintain product integrity while reducing hold-up volume.
Designed for single-use bioprocessing, the P10 features a gamma-ready polypropylene body, vertical inlet flow path and clean, drainable geometry that integrates seamlessly into pilot-scale skids, TFF modules, perfusion loops and mixing systems. The P10 bridges the gap between small-volume R&D experiments and mid-scale GMP production, providing predictable fluid management for buffer/media transfer, perfusion, virus inactivation steps, downstream filtration and formulation work. Optimised for disposable assemblies, it supports rapid changeover, contamination control and accelerated process development.
